Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies the results. Lincoln People Search does not save a copy of those searches on its own servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and process them to answer your message.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs, which may include an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help maintain the site and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Data Is Used
The limited data described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Lincoln, Placer County, California, court, library, and outside search services. Information submitted on a linked service is controlled by that service's privacy terms, not this policy. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support providers process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data already described. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Information
An encrypted connection serves the site. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because there are no user accounts, Lincoln People Search stores no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent personal data so that it can be deleted.
California Privacy Choices
The California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act provide qualifying consumers rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We can check our contact mailbox and technical logs for a privacy request because we hold very little visitor data. Submit a request through the Contact page. Government records maintained by Lincoln, Placer County, or California remain outside our control, so questions about correcting or restricting those files must go to their custodian.
Changes to This Policy
A revised version will be posted here when this policy changes. Continued use after publication signals acceptance of the revision.
